Acting, but for real life.

TISTO is an acting and improv experience. By actors, for non-actors. It’s not about performing. It’s about feeling okay when people are listening to you.

The idea was already there when TISTO came to Hexagon. So was the energy, and a New York community that kept getting bigger. What didn’t exist yet was a brand and digital system strong enough to hold all of it together as the project grew into workshops, courses, and corporate sessions.

That’s what we were brought in to build: a new logo, a custom accent typeface, a visual language loose enough to stretch, a poster system, and a website to tie it off.

Every TISTO session comes down to movement, presence, and a willingness to play. We made the brand identity do the same thing.

The system includes a redesigned logo, custom accent type, expressive brush strokes, bold layouts, and a poster and social kit that’s easy to keep adapting. The brush strokes weren’t a styling choice. They came out of watching the sessions. People move through a room a certain way. They react to each other. They tell stories with their bodies before they say a word.

We carried the identity straight into the website too. The site had to do the harder job. Explain the method, lay out the classes, show the team formats, and get across what a TISTO session actually feels like to someone who hasn’t been in one. People can understand the method, browse classes, find team experiences, and get a sense of the room before they’re standing in it.

TISTO isn’t a traditional acting school. Acting and improv are just the tools. The real subject is the meeting, the presentation, the conversation. Every moment where attention lands on you and you’d rather it didn’t.

A brand like that can’t feel flat or quiet. It needed to feel as alive as the sessions do.

The result isn’t a refresh. It’s a complete brand identity and website design system. One that gives TISTO a clearer voice, stronger recognition, and the space to keep growing.
